I knew from the very beginning of 5 Point we would be a church geared at reaching those far from God. But what I didn't know was just how messy it was going to be. We as a church have come to find out that reaching people can be TOUGH and can get you DIRTY!  But to reach people with spiritual needs many times you must meet physical needs.

Every church is not the same. Every church does not believe the same things. Every church has different leaders. In fact, every church doesn't look at the Bible or Christ the same. Another great day for 5 Point. Not sure why but momentum is rocking. Some of my thoughts on the day:
* Got up and looked outside and saw just how wet, foggy and cold it was.
* As I pulled into Robinson's parking lot (because we still do not have one) saw volunteers busy as bees setting stuff up outside. So appreciate all our volunteers.

Numerous times throughout the week I walk/pray for our new building. God knows what we need and how we can truly impact this city once we're worshiping there. To actually have a parking lot, foyers and most importantly kid space will be amazing to say the least. Please pray with me that God provides in a great way!

I am a HUGE Rick Warren fan. He has done so much to help the Kingdom of God grow. I could literally sit and listen to him for hours. Wisdom pours out of him. His devotion today was on having the right attitude when you go into the presence of God during your quiet time. I did not write the following. * As I came out of my office and heading down stairs Sunday morning I noticed several things I really dislike:
a. people out of breath from having to walk so far (probably good for them :))

For 31 years now I've had the honor of being married to Debbie. I can't say every day has been awesome because it hasn't. But we've made it through the good days and the bad. But I can say our marriage is as good as its ever been. I love Deb so much and desire to be the man she deserves and God has called me to be.
