May 6, Bunch of random thoughts

I want to scare people today by sharing a bunch of stuff I'm thinking and praying about:
* Just got back from speaking at The Home with A Heart.  This is a ministry for alcohol & drug addictions.  Love speaking to those
guys.  They are so honest, open and real.  We talked about honoring the marriage and keeping the marriage bed pure.
Hebrews 4:13.  I spoke for an hour and 15 minutes.  They just kept asking for more.  During our prayer time hearts were broken
and tears were flowing.  God did some really cool stuff.
* I took a few notes and my bible and taught for well over an hour.  Why am I telling you this?  Because I've been fighting with this
anyway, but starting this Sunday I'm taking my Bible and teaching.  Very few notes.  Taking what God has put in me and sharing it
with you.  I will say any and everything God lays on my heart.  Watch out 5 Point, I am jacked up about winning this city!
* 24 days until Africa.  Begging God to speak to me.  People have asked about what type of video camera do I need?  Good question.
They have asked for a JVC 45 x.  Need someone with a heart to reach the world to buy one to leave there.
* Praying for God to use Joe Sangle in a great way during our debtfreeeasley.com.  Check it our here.  Debt is real and Joe can help
you get out of debt.  Cool thing, were offering it free to anyone!
* Truly hope people are trying to serve others as hundreds made commitments to do.  I still have some to do myself.
* A leader in the church called this morning and asked me to pray for him.  God has been dealing with him about stepping up and
doing more for the Kingdom.  YEAH BABY!  Love it when God is working in hearts and lives.
* I am below 300 and taking it below 290.  280 is still the goal.  I am going to be below 290 before going to Africa.
* Praying, no begging God to show up and show out this Sunday.  Want to see LIFE CHANGE!
* Reading three books right now.  Have begun to have a hunger to read more and more.  If it weren't for Lost and Deadliest Catch I'd
read even more.  I will continue to read Bible early in the morning.  That time is God's.
* I am really excited about teaching the New Members class this Thursday.  Allows me the opportunity to get to know some new
people and I love that more are buying into our vision.
* Received several really encouraging e-mails this week.  I think people are really starting to see the potential of this church to grow
   God's Kingdom.
* Talked with some friends this week who are really discouraged about their church (not here).  Seeing more and more of this.  When
you go to church out of obligation and not desire, your wasting your time.
* Praying for our President.  Praying that God would get a hold of him and use him to draw America back to the cross.  My prayer is
that America will be one nation under God once again.
* Please pray for me.  A lot going on in my life right now.  I so desire to be in the center of God's Will doing His Will!
* The jeep that blew the engine should be ready this week.  Can't wait to get that bill.  Cool thing, we have the money in our
emergency fund.  This will not keep us from paying our bills.  Thanks Joe.  You need to be here on the 17th to here Joe Sangle.
* Christianity isn't about words, its about actions.  Go and do something radical for Jesus today!
* Quick question, are you reading your Bible?  Our walk with Jesus starts there, in His Word.  If not, get started today.
* Just hung up the phone with the pastor of the church I grew up in Virginia and was married in.  He is going to allow me to speak
there this summer.  Really looking forward to that.
* Starting in July we'll begin the series, "Dean's Workx."  This is a combination of messages God has been working on me about.
It will have a different flavor and style. I am promising you right now, it will be fun.
* Have you bought your "Messy People Allowed" t-shirt?  Get one this Sunday.  Great conversation starter and advertisement.
* Gotta finish for now so I can get me stuff to the tech guys.
