December 8, Thoughts on Sunday

Thoughts about Sunday:
* Another good day at 5 Point.
* Never get tired of seeing lives changed and people saved.
* I love Christmas songs and the band rocked leading in them.
* Andrea smoked her solo.
* A lot of great comments on how much people learned about Jesus.  This is going to be a good series.
* Offering was awesome.
* Attendance was great especially being the week after Thanksgiving.
* Had several people tell me personally and sign up wanting to join 5 Point.  Yeah baby!
* I tripped on Justin's guitar cord and almost fell into all the presents on stage.  Would not have been pretty.
* The auditorium looked amazing.  Thanks to all who helped decorate.
* A lot of momentum right now.
* Continue to see a bunch of visitors.
* Thank you Jesus for all your doing here and other churches.

Some other thoughts:
* I slept form 4:30 - 6:30 yesterday afternoon and it was simply amazing.  Didn't realize just how tired I was.
* Great staff meeting today.
* Already looking forward to this Sunday as we discuss what Jesus is doing today.
* December 21st is going to be incredible.  Invite, invite ,invite.
* Think I'm going to the Gator Bowl.  Haven't been to a bowl since the Orange Bowl back in 1982 and that was a lot of fun.
* Spent couple of hours in prayer this morning really seeking God on some stuff.  It was good!
* Praying about what the future holds for 5 Point.
* Showing Fire Proof on January 4th here.  We bought the rights and the movie.  This will kick off our marriage improvement for
   Sunday evenings.
* Dwain is doing a great job with the youth.  So glad God sent him our way.
* In fact, our entire staff rocks.  Love these guys.  Not only work with them but do life with them.
* Picked up another hitch hiker yesterday and today.  Tell you more about this tomorrow.
* Received an e-mail today that I had to literally hold back the tears.  The painful stories of peoples lives blows me away.
* Praying for true revival to break out.  Pray with me.
