Novemebr 3, Thoughts on Sunday

We had another awesome day of worship at 5 Point.  Here are some of the high points:
* We had a bunch of visitors.
* In fact, set an all time attendance record.
* Energy was incredible.
* The music could have been some of the best we've had.  Way to go guys!
* The message connected.  I love it when people are getting it.
* The children's side had close 200.  WOW and praise God!  Children having fun while they learn about Jesus.
* I believe we had numerous people who came because of our Halloween efforts.  More on that tomorrow.
* Bill's testimony on how alcohol can ruin your life rocked.
* I love answering the questions our people asked.
* We have a momentum right now like we've never had.
* During worship of the second service I went behind the stage and hung out with God. Begged him not to
allow me to do anything that would screw up what HE is doing here.
* Jeniffer nailed the first song, My last name.
* When I opened the beer to drink it, I wish you could have seen the look on people's faces.
* Last night rocked seeing all those teens gearing up for their Sunday pm service.
* Finish my marriage class in the next couple of weeks until January.  Seen some real life change here.

Some other random thoughts:
* Had a video glitch in first service.  If this happens again we'll have new video people.
* How bout them Tigers?  Felt good to actually win again.  I understand how you Gamecock fans have felt for
years.  Problems not fixed but they sure looked better.
* Went home yesterday and helped my son put the hard top on his jeep.  Gorgeous day.
* Playing Texas Hold em tonight with a bunch of friends.  Plan on winning it all.
* Praying my way through some serious changes.  Talk more about change later in the week hopefully.
* Had a great staff meeting today.  Tears flowing as we thanked God for His blessings and begged for more!
* Four years into this I don't regret one minute.
* Tomorrow morning is a important day for America.  But God is still on His throne regardless.
* I love and appreciate all the staff here does to make everything happen.
