Had a lengthy meeting with our elders this morning discussing some major decisions about the church.  Here are some of the issues we discussed.  Please pray with us about all of these:

* We are in the process of hiring a youth pastor and really seeking God about this issue.  Want to make sure we are in the center of God's Will.  I've heard other pastors say repeated, "hire slow and fire fast."  Taking our time.
*We need to give Ann (our secretary & more) more hours.  She is doing a lot of work at home.  She is doing too much in too many areas.  Needs to concentrate on what she does best.
* Tim & Michelle are underpaid for the quality of their work but we've got to make sure the resources are available before giving them more. 
* I'm wanting to make Sunday evenings into a buffet style of classes.  We'll have weight, financial, marriage, youth and new believers all going on with child care provided.  I so desire to help people where they are hurting.
* We can never turn our focus from the vision of reaching a lost and dying world.

Here are some things you can pray for me and with me about:
* Great vision has a great cost.  I want to do more but finances are holding us back.
* Upcoming series.  What God wants our people to hear in the future.
* Monthly leadership meetings.  Trying to build more leaders.
* Salvations - a lot of them!
* Our Sunday morning worship experiences.  That God would get all over.
* Life change
* Home groups
* Sunday nights here at the Colony
* Our momentum will continue
