January 11, Random Thoughts
Random Thoughts:
* Going to eat at home tonight and then go and watch Liberty High School basketball
* Deb had some friends coming over to help do some decoration to the house. Can't come.
YES! Save me some money.
* Had lunch with Burl Walker today and discussed a lot of church stuff. I love talking church with people who have
bought into the vision and understand the direction of 5 Point.
* Finished fasting this week and look forward to what God has laid on my heart.
* Going fishing in the morning. Gotta get up at 4:30 am. Hope we get into them.
* Sunday is another tough one for me. Sharing from the heart.
* Have begun reading a lot again. Reading Holy Discontent by Bill Hybells. Hear more later.
* Starting Good to Great Monday. Tim and I are going through this together.
* Made final preparation for our conference in Florida. Looking forward to that.
* I've taken over the duty off keeping our finances. Ouch! Opened my eyes to how much money Debbie is wasting.
Just kidding. I want to make every penny count.
* Our puppies got out and haven't returned. Jacob was heart broken. Getting another this weekend.
No puppy poop allowed! For those who were at 5 Point last Sunday.
* Our new tech guy has already helped to make some changes. You'll be seeing technical changes as time passes.
* My office is a mess.
* Took the past two weeks off from working out. Starting back in a little while. Jacob and I are going swimming
and biking. May the weight begin to fall off. Goal - 280 asap.
* We need a couple of vocalist. Some people who can flat bring it home. If you are one of them, please get in
touch with us. Now understand, I have a lot of Simon in me and I will let you know just how good or bad you
are. So unless you can bring it, don't ask!
* Having a creativity meeting this weekend and I'm stoked up about it. Planning out series for the remainder of
the year. Praying for God's guidance big time.
* I have two Clemson/Florida State basketball tickets and don't even know if I'm going. What is wrong with me?
