Never in my wildest dreams did I think wearing my bath robe as I spoke would cause such an outpouring of encouragement.  Since we started 5 Point I've never had so many e-mails, phone calls or encouraging words about a message.  I don't think it was the message as much as all of you admiring my sexy bath robe and blue  bathing suit. 

Seriously, God moved in both services yesterday and it was awesome.  As I stood in the balcony and watched you pointing at Tim and the band as they started by looking at the screen.  As I welcomed and you could hear me but not see me it was a riot to watch all of you looking all over.  Isn't it wild how craziness does draw attention?  God is up to something big here and we need to be crazy this week.  No one needs to wear camel's hair and eat locust, but you do need to get out of your box and start getting crazy.

Got home yesterday and was wore slap out.  Tried to rest for a while but the thunder and lightening kept me awake.  Then we lost our power for 3 - 4 hours.  I really do appreciate all Benjamin Franklin did because I like electricity. 

Couldn't sleep again last night until 1:30 am.  Thnking about the next couple of messages and the direction of our church.  Please pray for me and with me as September 9th and the kick off of our, I screwed up series.
Everyday hand out the invitation cards, call people, pray for them.  Do what it takes to get them here.
I beleive the 9th is going to be a day 5 Point will never forget.
